Eye drops:
AccuGesic Eye Drops - 5 ml is a non-steroidal compound that has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects, as it works to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, which play a major role in the occurrence of inflammation and pain, especially after surgical operations, eye injuries, or in other non-infectious inflammatory conditions. It has been proven that giving this eye drop for the purpose of Prevention for patients undergoing cataract removal and intraocular lens implantation, as it reduces the incidence and severity of cystoid macular edema if it occurs.
Be careful :
- Bleeding time may be prolonged when using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, so caution should be exercised when using it in patients who are predisposed to bleeding or who are being treated with anticoagulants.
- If there is an infection or there is a risk of infection, appropriate concomitant treatment such as antibiotics must be given
- Contact lenses must be removed before using the drops and put on after more than 15 minutes of use
Recommendation:
- One drop 5 times before the operation, maximum during the three hours before the surgery
- One drop 3 times immediately after surgery, then one drop 3-5 times daily for a period determined by need
- For other cases, one drop 4-5 times daily
Storage:
The preparation must be stored at a temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius, and any remaining solution should be disposed of one month after opening the package.
